Criminals wouldn't care whether a law-abiding runner is racing or just training.

Can you carry two Glock 20s in that cradle? I prefer a big bore gun for use in civil insurrections and to use for ghetto gang protection. I'm a big guy and I can carry the five pound burden.
The tiny G43 is a pound and a half loaded and that should be enough protection for a girl to carry on a run.

A gun? Try running with a hand grenade.

I will typically wear outside of my running shorts for full visibility
If you wore that around here, you'd be blown to bits by police.
Honestly women with guns who arn't cops.......
Great choice. I prefer a holster by Pistolwear for my Glock 42 that's neoprene and doesn't bounce or move. After seeing multiple dog vs runner attacks I have also begun to carry while alone. I've found out first hand that pepper spray sometimes does NOT stop an attacking dog, and I truly doubt a whistle would be of much use if a territorial dog tries to attack my dog while we're running.
There was a fatal car accident on my county road last year and after my 911 call the first responders were there in 14 minutes. So though I like to run with my phone, help if needed isn't instantaneous.
An Assault rifle attached to the pole loops of a hydration pack seems to be the way to go. You don't want to be out-gunned on your 5 km hobby jog.

This also puts a barrier between you and the perp.
Sig p938 or p238.
Meh, I drive, er, i mean run behind an RV carrying a couple ICBMs.
Why run with a glock 43? There's better single stacks with higher mag limits in 9mm that are cheaper and more prove . And a .380 would be better due to the lighter weight and size.

That is something everyone needs to have.
Why use a holster at all? Just hold them in your hands and get a little weight training. That way if someone comes at you you can immediately shoot. Don't waste 3 seconds reaching for the gun and probably dropping it.
Thanks, I also run with my gun. I live in TX and have a concealed carry permit. I run on dirt roads, since the dirt road is easier on my 50 yr old knees and ankles than pavement. The roads are farmland and are secluded with no homes or businesses nearby. I'm female and small. I'd have no fighting chance against an attacker if I wasn't carrying.

I have always run with a Smith & Wesson "active" holster, but recently switched to this:

I wanted to bring attention to other women who might feel more comfortable running with their weapon. I am in no way affiliated with the creator and distributor of this holster (other than that I purchased one).

Why has nobody invented a gun with a built-in phone?
Why carry two devices when you can carry the GunPhone?
Obviously sales would be limited to the US of A, because nobody else in the world is this franking stupid, but it's still a huge market.
I run exclusively on the health club treadmill, but I wear a gun belt with two holsters. That's in case somebody tells me I've been on the treadmill for too long.

That's like every redneck's dream, besides having a threesome with their sister and cousin.

I have done about 10,000 runs in my life, in all of those runs there have only been 2-3 times when I didn't feel safe. Why would I carry an extra pound, a loaded weapon no less for something I don't expect to happen. Btw, I have friends and family members who are in law enforcement, some of these guys will wear their gun to a backyard barbeque. Some people simply like the confidence carrying a weapon gives them.
While some people may be totally anti-gun, and many of us can come up with amusing reply posts ( I think the gun jogger guy won this one), the sad reality is that any young woman who runs alone in an isolated area, i.e. trails, large parks, rural roads, etc. is exposed to a far greater risk of violence than any male runner in similar circumstances.
