Minimum times to consider yourself a pro runner

I would not consider a local runner who wins a 5k and gets $50 or $100 a pro.

But, I would consider receives a consistent income (it can be cash or sponsorships) a pro. It doesn't need to be their primary income, but there needs to be some level of consistent money or product given to the individual athlete for them to be considered "pro"

No, I didn't.

So placing at Spartan races makes you a pro. $500 - $3000 for first place. Seems like a nice way to make easy money and embarrass some x-fitters at the same time. Max King got $30k for winning the WD world champs.
