I've noticed recently that there are a lot of post collegiates calling themselves "pro" runners despite the fact that they have minimal to no sponsorship and times far from being competitive on the US or world stage. Without implicating individuals, I'd point to a couple of 4:25-4:30 female 1500 runners that describe themselves as pros in blogs, social media, etc.
With that in mind, what are the minimum standard times to call yourself a pro?
Male/Female: 800/1500/5000/10000
Male: 1:47, 3:40, 13:45, 28:30
Female: 2:02, 4:10, 15:45, 32:30
