You clearly didn't watch the game if you don't think any defense was being played. Gordon Hayward had the honor of guarding Kobe and he went hard in the paint. It was definitely a pride thing... He was glistening from all the sweat.

More so, 44% is the league average for shooting (and has been for the last 15 years). So, yeah...

Ummm #2, Kobe Ballhog "won" the lowest shooting percentage for regular players this year with a 35%. 35% is not the league average. It is #1 at the bottom.

No. Melo may keep his shots up as he gets worse but I doubt lebron would. He would try passing more.

Lots of players become more of specialists later in their careers. They actually become better shooters while having a worse all around game. It seems clear that lebron and melo would become stretch 4s in the new nba. I see them following Paul pierces career path. Stretch 4 6th man for a championship contender to come in and just take open 3s and defend.

Kobe's will be easier to break because it won't take too many PEDs to miss all those shots.
