Now my focus is trying to get my indoor row time to under 6.

How close are you to the 6:00 2k. That would be the most impressive feat in this thread if you hit it.

Still got a good deal of work but have only been at it since the new year. I am at 623 259 and 123.2 for 2k 1k and 500. I was sick for crash bs and had an off day and that's the last time I have tried a 2k. I think I could go 6:15 right now.
On April 7, 2001 ran 800 in 2:11, then in October 6th of the same year I ran 4:59 for the mile. In November 18, 2002 I ran a 5K cross country race in 17:01!
Then the following year as a senior in high school, I ran the 1600 in 4:22, and the 3200 in 9:30.9 at the state meet. My best lifts were DL: 400 and Bench: 275.
My first year in college I broke the existing freshman record in the indoor 600 in 1:19.8! I then ran a 3:42.2 1500 for my best ever in the spring. My sophomore year I broke the school outdoor 800 with a 1:50.3! As a junior I stepped up to the 5K and ran 13:33.8, again a school record. As a senior I had times of 47.2 in 400, 1:48.2 in the 800, and 3:35.7 in the 1500.
Since leaving college I have become a body builder and have these as my
personal bests:
Squat: 510
DL: 775
Bench: 455
Actually I didn't do any of the above!
At least I came clean.

What is your height/weight? I've dicked around with indoor rowing a bit in the past. Never got below 6:30. Granted I was 152lbs at the time. I'm closer to 180 now so wondering if I should get back into it.
After approximately 3 years of brutal weight training without steroids:
Mile (treadmill): 8:05
Deadlift: 242
Bench press: 187
After 6 weeks of training with steroids:
Mile (treadmill): 6:40
Deadlift: 484
Bench press: 396
For three years, I suffered from severe muscular soreness. There were countless days I could barely walk up the stairs, and walking down the stairs was painful as well, yet the progress I made over 3 years was mediocre. My strength gains plateaued after about 6 months of intense drug free weight training.
After 6 weeks of steroid use, I suffered no muscular soreness, and I found that all my workouts were easy. The strength gains from steroids are just ridiculous. It is just too easy.
Steroids also dramatically decreased my time for a 1 mile run on a treadmill. Steroids lowered my body fat while significantly increasing my muscle mass. My relative strength was dramatically increased, and I believe that steroids also boosted my production of red blood cells.
Why are there so many idiots claiming that steroids are a just a shortcut? I could never bench press 180Kg without steroids.
It is all steroids. 99.9% all of those so-called elite athletes are just dumb steroid users. It is all BS.
Within 2 weeks after my last dose of steroids, I would have passed every damn drug tests! I would be considered drug free according to current drug tests. What a joke!

Deadlift and bench press numbers are worthless without bodayweight numbers.
Anyway, assuming a SKINNY/SCRAWNY runner weighs 165 lbs, the following would be an intermediate (read: average) standard:
deadlift: 295
bench: 185
You see, far away for you.
That's because running DESTROYS muscle. That's why your wives have to carry the grocery bags.
Just kidding, I know you guys don't have wives.
Anyway, my numbers are way up and I am still fast. CrossFit pays off.

Cool story bro.
Height: 6'2
Weight: 170

Deadlift: 345 (2013)

Curious what the top mid and long distance East African's lifting stats are like compared to the top Westerners. I can't see some of the EA guys benching over 100 lb.
Mile: 4:18
5k: 18:02 (havent run a collegiate 5k lol, but 25:00 8k and 8:34 3k)
Bench: 225
Deadlift: 185
I meant MOST of the EA guys.
