Yeah seconded.
When I saw 26mpw I panicked thinking this was the most you'd ever done in your life. Everything you're doing sounds perfectly reasonable. There's two ways you can play it from here:
1) The traditional "mileage" fight - basically keep bumping up your mileage, as this is the "surest" way of dropping your times, but it may not be the healthiest or most effective option. 50mpw is more than enough base for a 1600/3200 runner. You could do more, but you'll probably benefit more from option 2 below.
2) Come up with a solid workout plan - basically incorporate good tempo runs and interval trainings into your routine. You can start with shorter and slower tempos/intervals in the off-season and slowly build up the pace and distance as the track season nears. There's lots of good posts on letsrun.com with suggested workouts. But for God's sake always remember you are a track runner trying for a D1 spot, not a "hobby jogger" training for the marathon or a 10K road race, so take everything you read here with a grain of salt. Basically that means your hard workouts should generally be shorter and faster than what is suggested for 10K/half/marathon runners.
