As I've posted before, it amazes me when track fans complain about baseball. The two sports are very similar. The point of the game is to run around in a circle, they both take a long time to play and there are a ton of pretty unimportant contests each year. Both sports are popular as they are excuses to sit outside, enjoy the great summer weather and talk.

Incorrect , I also work for one of the 2 major Sports Broadcasters in Canada. ( There are 2 , Bell, Rogers ) The US National advertising on Fox is already sold. If the current ratings are higher or lower it does not effect the price of the sold commercial spots. They do have "conditional sales" for advertising, like last night when a 3 hour game turns into a 4.5 hour game,and they get to keep running the commercials. They got the call right in the 7th.

I don't watch a lot of baseball, but I watched the highlights of this inning. I don't understand why the guy tossing the bat is such a big deal.
Sounds like ranger fans are just bitter their ball team got beat. Maybe they should get some more raucous fans and passionate emotional players like Joey Bats.
Also, the skydome should probably start serving beer in dixie cups instead of cans and bottles, nobody wants to see babies get hurt. With the exception of Dyson; nothing brings me more joy than seeing that guy cry about a bat flip. If he could pitch it wouldn't have been a problem.
