No Americans in the final. First time since 2007. An American has made the final in the last 3 World Championship but he was left off the team this year. Hope you're happy USATF.
I have to agree with the worst trained 800m runner is Cas Loxsom.
The only other 800m runner as poorly trained in the history of the event was Seb Coe. The WR holder could never win GOLD. Just always tactically choked at the Olympics.
I'm not sure Cas can make the Olympic Final anymore.

It would be a miracle if he ever made an Olympic . The only races he looks good in, are the ones where he can get all the way out on the front edge, fade and hold on. and against weak U.S. 800 fields. Because that's what they are these days.
By the way, all the Symmonds talk? He had his best day and what would have turned out to be his best day at U.S. meet. He was doing nothing this year. Check every other result.
