Coach Robinson says you are just a hater and we shouldn't listen to you. A lot of people try to denigrate our program, saying stuff like "There are three guys on the LSU roster who ran under 9:30 in high school who have now had at least 2 cross seasons in college and have yet to challenge the 26:00 barrier for 8k." As if that says anything about the program.

The critics just haven't bought in yet.

I'll start the trend of predictions. Team titles both go to Arkansas. On the individual side of things, my top 3 is Dom Scott for the title, Jochen of A&M, and Blaase of Tennessee. On the men's side, I think that Tonui from Arkansas will win, with Thomson of Kentucky getting silver and another Arkansas lad (George perhaps) getting bronze. Sean Tobin would be my dark horse title contender.

Spencer Hrycay is running well (by UK standards); I expect him to surprise at SEC XC.

Underwater treadmill substitutes for our long run. Running in water is just like slogging thru those hot, humid long runs and we get to watch Alan Webb inspirational videos at the same time.

I don't see what you are seeing. the times are insignificantly different and show no real improvement. Caldwell and Carter are no longer a factor after a year of VanHoy training. The Wisconsin meet (for which they were pointing) shows the real story, and that is a team that is fading. Erb is a shadow of his, former, Syracuse days (last year). They have two All SEC freshman from last year that are non factors this year. Top runner, Wes Gallager, from last year's SEC XC champs not even in their top ten this year. Trevor Gilley seriously underperforming this year. They were talking big performances to come at NCAA's this year (after Louisville) but they aren't even guaranteed a spot in the meet by the way they are running.
