Was Steve Pre on drugs?

ummm...I am seeing more ignorant statements being made. Blood doping was illegal back then, as it is now. The tests that were conducted were not as sophisticated or knowledgeable as they are now, of course not. However, those of you who presume to know facts with second or third hand information, that isnt fact, it is still rumor. And, people are afraid of success. They like to tear down those who earn it, and that is what is happening here. None of you apparently have any idea who Steve Prefontaine was, nor what his principals were, his values, etc. This is disgusting really, that these accusations are being made. If you had something real to show for it then that would be great, but you dont. Steve at the time had the highest VO2 max of anyone ever tested, and he was born with a body that was like steel, one of those things you cant explain. And I'm sorry, but as far as steroids go, Steve was not ripped, or super thin and cut. He actually carried around some extra weight, because he wasnt built naturally small, nor was he built to be bulky. Just an average looking guy and he stayed that way. He was fast from the day he ran his first mile to the day he won his last race. Now please people, you can talk about fictional stories, or possibilities, but that is different than "stating" these things as fact. They are not fact, and in stating them so, you are lieing. Please dont continue on that path. Steve deserves more credit and respect than that. Thanks.

Yeah man...you are a f***ing idiot, steve was on drugs...thats why he was such a badass on the world scene..if he would have been doping, he would have been able to beat viren ( the best in the world..most likely on drugs but beside the point).
