Oh God, I thought I was invincible when it comes to weather conditions, after all, I have ran at -27C with only one layer of tights, and have run in +35C summer conditions...but never in high humidity, and the Tokyo humidity is a killer. For the first time in my life I thought i was going to get a heart attack during my interval training...so very humbled and taking it easy till it cools down a bit..
Monday: 8K,, easy, recovering from my sore legs from the beach run
Wednesday: 1.6K warmup, 4*1K (3:26, 3:37,3:41,3:49, plan was to do 6, but I died), 1km cooldown
Friday: 6Km @ 4:21 (4:10,4:24,4:20,4:10,4:05,4:09)
Sunday: 14Km @ 5:04
total: around 35K, 22 miles
Week 8:
3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
Tuesday:10Km easy at 5:17
Wednesday:1.6 warm,6*1K( 3:39,3:31,3:34,3:35,3:37,3:39) 1k cool
Thursday: 6Km (4:58, 4:43, 4:34, 3:27, 5:05, 4:27).. mostly easy, except the 4th K, I was listening to some radio channel and the perfect song came up, and I just cant stop myself...name of song: Egyptian Reggae (Jonathan Richman)
Food poisoning on friday, spent the whole weekend in bed :-(
