Bolt runs 20.20

Its not a bad opener as Tyson Gay used to open with a 20.00 flat when he used to run this meet. As Ato Bolden once explained, its not about age but the milage you have to put your body through. Bolt has been among the top 3, 200m sprinters since 2006. His body can no longer go under 9.65 and 19.45. He will at best do a 9.72 or a 19.56 this season. Anything faster could see his body start to give in on him.

The only thing I will never understand till the day I die, is how Bolt managed to go from 19.80 at the 2007 WC to 19.30 at the Olympics as well as 9.69, without ever having run a serious 100m. Imagine being infront of yourself by a margin of 12 yards (10meters) from the previous year.

But just remember one thing Usain, eventually they caught LANCE, if you know what I mean....

Bolt like Rudisha have left a beautiful legacy. Move on peoples.

I hope he breaks 9.7 and 19.5 one last season before retirement. Be great to see

1) He does look big which is a bad thing. I am not sure it is easy to lean up for someone his age. He should not have put on any weight after Beijing.

2) I haven't seen many of his season openers but I have seen him jog faster times in prelims.

3) Most sprinters train through meets like this and he will drop a lot of time once his training transitions. How much is the question?

I think he will run under 19.50 but this makes me doubtful that he will be anywhere near his record.
