The penalty phase has yet to happen. He's guilty 30 for 30, but the jury must reconvene to determine if he lives or dies.

Tsarnaev said no such thing. He was never given a chance to speak. His lawyers said he did it -- on the 1st day of the trial. Unheard of defense strategy -- admit your client did it, question one of the prosecution's flimsy evidence, and put on no defense at all.

The real question is what was the FBI's role in the bombing.

If there is any kind of legitimacy in our justice system, he will get a new trial based on the incompetent defense he was given.

The defense lawyer could not say he did it without his permission. Please take your nutjob conspiracy theories to one of those websites where they are welcome.

You don't know what input D Tsarnaev had with his defense. We never heard a word from him --he was kept in solitary confinement.

Can you answer any of the questions that he posed?

Why did the FBI claim it had a video showing D Tsarnaev placing the bomb and that this was how the id'ed the brothers given they did not have such a video?

And seeing as how they had no such video, then how did they id the brothers?

Pretty damn good questions.

If you think the FBI has not set up dozens of these "domestic terror incidents" only to rush in and save the day from a crime they created, you just haven't been paying attention.

It's certainly fair to say that the defense lawyers put up no case at all.

Surely Tsarnaev should get a retrial for incompetent representation.

Somehow this lack of a defense was spun in the mainstream media as proof of D Tsarnaev's guilt. If there was any real journalism in the MSM these days, they would have been all over how much this trail stunk.

What an idiot you are. Their defense is to admit the crime, blame his brother, and avoid a death sentence. Being found guilty on every point is exactly what you would expect with this kind of defense.

The verdict was pretty much a foregone conclusion. The real question is will he be executed. I hope so, but I'm skeptical. What are the odds that 12 jurors from the Bay State will not include at least one moonbat?

Well, since it's Boston, the moon at likelihood is pretty small.

The jury -- and the public -- were shown videos of the brothers walking around and -- at the very last minute (the last day of the prosecution's case) a still pic of T Tsarnaev standing near the place the 2nd bomb went off. A very odd looking pic that looks photo shopped.

Look up the details of any of the dozens of "domestic terrorist incidents" of the past several years. In each and every single one of them the "crime" was conceived by an agent provocateur working for the FBI with the exceptions of the underwear and shoe bombers and the Boston bombers -- in those cases the FBI has not admitted to any role.

It would seem you misread what I wrote. My statement is 100% true and you seem to support it with your reply.

I'm curious why you think the photo showing Tsarnaev standing near was the Richards family was Photoshopped. The defense did not contest the photo. Why would they since he had admitted his guilt.

We are in agreement that there is no evidence linking the FBI to this case.

He admitted to a role, but the defense was trying to shift the bulk of the blame to the dead brother. Also there were 30 counts and I don't think he was accepting responsibility for every one of them.
