Radcliffe record not an outlier: Athletics Illustrated

All this study shows is that when doped, women will run around 10-11% slower than men. And that ALL of the women's WR's are doped.

So the men can have rabbits, but the women can't?

It is definitely an outlier when you consider Dennis Kimetto ran 2:02:57 this year and Paula's record was run over a decade ago.

The highest level at which I have 99% certainty that records are clean (distances) is the American collegiate level (unless you think that Jenny B and Chris Derrick were doping while in school). I would like to see a percentage comparison of the ACRs between men and women.

My preliminary calculations show a 12% gap at 1500, 5000 and 10000m for the ACR's. This would indicate a ~2-4% "encroachment" by doped women against doped men (assuming all are doped) at the pro level. Paula's record is within 8% of Tergat's record for the same year, a huge red flag for me. She was as big an outlier at that point as FloJo's 100 or Junxia's 3000.
