I think Furman gets all the Southern kids who don't want to move far and aren't very good academically. That is a growing market for sure.
In coming class is Ohio, Tennessee , Georgia and Texas. Your geography is a bit off ace.
Iona did not run their best team. They raced with maybe half of their varsity.

They also have at least one kid from Michigan. Their coach used to coach at Ohio State, and they have Nicole Bush and Cory Leslie on "staff", so that might help get the Midwest kids.
Furman is a very tough academic school, ask anyone who knows anything about college academics.
I understand that you might be excited by Furman but don't bend the truth to make them look better than they are. Iona were full strength? Only if you think their two 7:57 guys and their #5 from last year who all didn't race yesterday aren't in their top 7 could you believe they were full strength.
Really. If the kids did not run they did not run. Did Iona come in third? Yes they did. I am sure Kolas awards teams based on who did not run....

You do know that there is a rule on how many guys from the regional team have to run for it to count as a point, right?
