I'd had no idea that Tom Selleck posted on LR.COM
Neither did I. I, Billy Dixon.

Personally I carry a Titanium S&W 360PD J Frame.
Are you sure it's not the scandium frame with a titanium cylinder?
And if you're going to carry a 360PD, don't play pattycakes with 38 Special. Go full bore with 357 mag, preferably the 180 grain rounds. You never know when a rabid moose might try to bite you.

You are correct. Scandium Frame with ti cylinder. There is some MIM on this thing too:(
The .357 is like a fire ball at night and blinds the shooter. The Speer Gold Dot 38spl has a much more tactical purpose especially against 2 legged predators.

Who makes that model?
Glock? SIG? HK?
Caliber?
Shows what a hunter I am. I had to check the box. HSM 180 Grain, RNFP Gas Check. Actually just bought these because the box says Bear Load. I don't shoot the gun nearly enough, but I switch out the box of ammo each year for a fresh one. On the off chance I do pull the trigger I want it to fire. 40 bucks a year seems like a good investment.

I've actually been happy I had it once. No shots fired, but surprised a bear in a dumpster only a block from home. I also left it behind once and wished I had it. Bears should have been hibernating but again came up on one way too close in the trash.
That sounds legit. Do you use a bonded or heavy lead (buffalo bore) round? Very experienced big game hunters usually suggest heavier rounds to penetrate the hides of wild bears.
BTW, I have an old Rossi 357 mag rifle ( a blast to shoot). The loads don't cycle worth a darn through the rifle, so I won't buy them again. There is also talk of my State going "Lead Free" next year, anyone know of a good non lead .357 mag for a pistol and rifle? I'd like to stay under 40 dollars a box.
My mom takes a Ruger LC 380 (3" barrel), mainly for shooting rattlesnakes.
Why no love for the Glock 26?
My HK USP Compact just like Jack.

The G26 is very popular here in the USA.
I'm not a fan of the short grip.
I prefer a scandium revolver for running. It is light, small, and double action revolvers are very forgiving in AD prevention.
I do like by G19 a lot however, I have one with a threaded barrel to mount an AAC suppressor. I've taken that one on long navigational off road driving courses. It is cool to stop in remote areas set up a range, shoot a few hundred rounds, eat lunch then get back on the trail.
No place like America.
ak47, the large gun improves arm and core strength, and running with one reinforces the right to bear arms.
Why has no one gone Goldeneye Grenade launcher?! I don't even want to give my attacker a chance. Just lay all six of those babies far enough way for me not to do that breathing heavy thing and losing health.

I just drop proximity mines around the perimeter of my run beforehand. No problems so far.
I heard you run faster with a knife.
No need for a gun. My hands are registered as lethal weapons in the state of California.
My personal preference is to do my trail runs in a treadmill that I have installed in my personal Panzer tank that I keep in my driveway.
I then proceed to steer the tank around the bush whilst completing my 'trail runs' in relative safety (I'm still susceptible to nuclear attack whilst out and about, but I'm working on that one), and it sure beats running out there unprotected.
Now, to the next question, what is the best gun for races?
