If the ad featured a ridiculously hunky dude instead, it would just be a funny ad...but if it's trying to sell with FEMALE sexiness, oh my God, we need to call the sexism police. Double standard.
My take is that if the TomTom marketers chose to market exclusively to a male audience, it shows that their research indicates that men are the vast majority of people actually forking over money for their product. So since women still use TomTom, there are 3 possibilities: (1) Women would rather get men to buy the product for them than buy it themselves. (2) The product isn't catching on with the same percentage of women as men, so why not market to your audience? (3) Women by and large just don't care about any 'sexism' in the ad, since they know they love hot guys just as much as guys love hot girls.
That is not true. If a guy was seen running with his package swaying back and forth followed by a young teenage girl smiling, it would be seen as disgusting. This is a double standard. Some of you feel that women should be reduced to their body parts, and the purpose of women is to give men pleasure. You get an intelligent woman like Kate making comments and some of the idiots on here start saying things like, "personality disorder", or "prude". I forgot, women are suppose to shut up and not give opinion. Or doing the other thing some idiot males do is try to make her feel slutty for walking around in a sports bra while arguing that women's breasts should be used to advertise tom toms.
Some of the guys on here need to get a little education.
