I guarantee you there is a ZERO percent chance Mayweather is anywhere near as strong as LBJ. The fact you think someone that much smaller can be as strong as another world class athlete just because he is a boxer is silly. It would be amazing if Floyd could land a full force, perfectly placed shot on another athlete with on him in height and reach. Even being a boxer, those things matter a lot. It's not like LBJ is slow either. And its unlikely you just get to stand there in a boxing stance and tee of on someone in a fight.
*with him at such a disadvantage in height, size and reach*
It blows my mind that somebody could think Lebron could beat him in a fight. You have no idea how hard Floyd can hit, Lebron does not know hot to throw a punch. I give it 3 hits max before James is knocked out

Turtle up- is that boxing terminology

How hard can Floyd punch when he's clinched? He'd maybe land a jab or two and then Lebron would tackle him and that would be the end of it.

I think its hockey fight terminology. It does describe what Lebron James would do if ever actually hit. Lebron is puppy dog soft.
Yes in theory Lebron should win because of size but anyone who has ever watched him play football knows one hit is all it will take. Lebron needed carried of the court during an NBA finals game because he had cramps. Why would you ever bet on this wuss in any fight?
Wow, amazing that anyone would think Lebron would stand a chance. And even funnier are the people talking about the height difference. Mike Tyson was 5'9" on a good day, do you think he'd have any trouble with someone a foot taller?
Floyd would connect with punches so fast and hard that lebron would be stunned like a deer in headlights.
I am not remotely suggesting Lebron could even make a decent fight of it, but do a Google image search of Chamberlain versus Ali. They talked of fighting back in the 70's. It is really interesting to see the photos of Chamberlain with an 18+" reach advantage. It doesn't appear that Ali could even reach his head with a punch. Far from impossible, but if a huge guy could be taught to glance blows to his body, he could at least last awhile against a much smaller opponent.
White houses reflect the sun
If you think Mayweather's punching power is in anyway comparable to Tyson then you are the fool. There is a huge strength/power difference between the two. Mayweather, however, is a boy compared to James.
And it takes real mindless for any you talking about cramps as a sign of lack of strength or toughness. If you have had major cramping you know you can't run/play basketball on them. If you say otherwise you are a fool or a liar. I am certain none you could play bball at LeBron's pace, at his size and his minutes in 90 plus temps without having issues. And Im certain no one calling him a wuss could do anything to him in a fight. Moreover, Mayweather does NOT have heavyweight ko power. Can he hit harder then the typical 145 pounder? Sure. Size, height and reach can really eat away at speed advantage. And James isnt some slow oaf. Mayweather throws one punch that wont connect flush with full force before James bull rushes him to the ground and hits him with fists and elbows the size of his head. Tyson is strong enough to keep Lebron from taking him down and then dropping him with an uppercut. Two very different scenarios.
Are you guys stupid?. Lebron ways 250.

What does being a world class athlete have to do with how strong you are? Lebron's world class ability is playing basketball not weightlifting or punching. Floyd's is.
Anybody giving an answer other than "Floyd in about 20 seconds" has no god damn clue what they're talking about.
Well, maybe its the fact that LeBron's forearms are the size of Mayweather's legs. It could also be that some of you guys on this thread are grotesquely underestimating the strength required to play in the post against the guys Lebron does. He can still put touch on a shot or layup after getting hacked or pushed by other 250lb men. It's how so many on lrc accuse him of being a steriod enhanced freak yet somehow now he's a weakling. And yes, being a world class athlete of his size and his muscle mass makes him powerful. And his body control even after hard fouls suggests functional strength. We are talking 100 lb difference here and it certainly looks to be mostly muscle, but fairly agile also.
It's those claiming an easy win for Floyd that are clueless.
I give UFC 145 lb champ Jose Aldo a much better chance in a fight against LeBron. He would excellent grappling and legs to the fight in addition to good hands. Easily more well rounded then Floyd.
*leg kicks*

No, you are the clueless one here. The size of your bodyparts has little to do with your strength or punching power.
No one said Lebron was a weakling. I said that being strong isn't his specialty. Being strong is Floyd's specialty. The bodyweight difference is irrelevant unless this is a contest of who weighs the most.
Lebron probably hasn't been in a fight in over 15 years. What has Floyd been doing everyday for the past 15 years?
Being strong is Mayweather's specialty? Is he a power lifter? Where is you evidence that being a boxer makes ones physical power vastly superior to other athletes so much so an athlete considerably larger with considerably more muscle isnt even stronger? In fact how do know he is stronger then another athlete of his same size?
While being strong isnt LeBron's 'specialty' as you put it, it is certainly required how he plays in the post. If you dont know that, you are the clueless one. In fact, being strong isnt Mayweather's specialty either. Boxing and powerlifting arent the same thing. You dont have to be stronger to outbox somebody. Technique and timing are more important. Yet even at a certain point, size and strength matter. There is a huge discrepancy here. Just Lebron putting his weight on Floyd and pushing a little may very well have more force than anything he has faced before. Also, while Floyd is a boxer, that does not guarantee his punches have more force or power than a man much larger who doesnt. Maybe per body size but not necessarily overall. For instance, Brock Lesnar had terrible boxing even for a Ufc fighter with a wrestling only background. But he could knock another heavyweight fighter backwards and on his ass from just power and size. It does make a difference. And, LeBron doesnt need to throw a single punch to win this anyway.

Only thing Mayweather has over Lebron is technique & skills, but I'm not sure if that is enough when there's a 100 pound, 12 inch difference, plus a difference in speed, strength, & endurance which Lebron has the favor in. Lebron is an absolute freak of nature. He regularly goes up against centers & power forwards who are bigger than him & he holds his own just fine. He also has the agility to play guard or even point guard. Not many people can play any position on the court.
Leave it to the experts.
Lebron has - more speed, a lot more strength (comical that people are even attempting to argue this), & more endurance, Agility is likely similar between the 2.

Do you think they'd have a chance? Even if they were a boxer?
