The week of Bix she held a CC camp for high schoolers. From some of the coverage I saw of camp she was pretty involved so guessing she may have come into the race a little rundown.
Betsy is no longer coached by Corey Ihmels. I believe she is with a group called the American Distance Project in Colorado. Can't think of the name of the coach but she tweets about it a lot.

She's running Chicago as her debut marathon in about a month...hoping she'll get the OTQ and can turn a new page in her career. She certainly seemingly has a future in marathoning...
She will not run a fast marathon with that oft kilter gait of hers.
