Are you guys all 100 percent sure that is not the 100 line? I see a line about 10m back and another about 10m forward. On my track the 100 line in lane 1 is just a few meters before the curve ends. OP might be a doinkus in general, but he could be right about this.

Yes of course. What he's looking at is not even a solid line. The fact that he covered the rest in 12.0 should make it obvious it wasn't 100 meters. Even a 13.2 final 100 in a fast 15 is hugely impressive.
Watch a video of a 100 meter dash and you'll see where the line is.

Then it is not an IAAF standard track, where the straights are about 85m.
Monaco has 38m radius turns, which is the max. allowed.
The straights are 80 meters and the curves 120.

You sound like you know what you are talking about. So in that photo they are at 90 m to go, and the line in front is 80 m hurdles. I have to admit that it looked like 100 m to go to me though, and not seeing the straightaway to the left does not help matters.
Someone talked about impossibility of 12 sec finishes in 1500 m but it has been done.
I'm somewhat mystified that Kiplagat last 100 m looks faster than previous 100 m yet we are assured his last 200 m w as 26.4?

but 100m to go in lanes 1-3 is not usually indicated as a solid line. The solid line is displaced on the straightaway part that is seperate from the inside curve, and you cannot even see that solid line in the pic in question.

You can't see the solid line, but you can see where the solid line WOULD be if it were the 100 meter start line. Instead it's just a bunch of slightly diagonal lines in each line, clearly not a starting line.

Yeah I've looked at it a little more closely. In the video Kiplagat appears to be at 100m to go at 3:14.6 (according to the adjacent field clock) making it more like 13 flat. I'm leaning toward 12.9. That was a really strong finish.

You nerds continue to ignore an issue that was already pointed out above.
The field clock is NOT necessarily synced to the 0.1s with the gun. In many cases an official (often the same one tasked with ringing the bell) simply hits a button when the gun goes. Precision is plus or minus at least a couple of tenths.

No, he was on the line 100m from home in 3:14.3/3:14.4 according to the onscreen stadium clock. So his last 100m was 13.2. Certainly not 13 flat.

I've analysed this race and got 100 splits for the entire race for Kiplagat, Kiprop, Kwemoi and Willis.
I have Kiplagat's 400 splits as ~ 55.1, 57.2, 55.8, 39.5 (53.6 last 400)
So first 3 laps were fairly even.
I have his last 4 x 100m as 14.1,13.1, 13.2, 13.2.
His last 800 was 1:49.2!!
