Maybe, or maybe not. The President made this far worse by doing a Rose Garden political event. His advisers blew it even more by not understanding the father would look and speak like a taliban.
The President not understanding the situation and setting it up to be a big political victory has made this far worse for him.

Afghans are Cauc-Asian people who are traced to Ancient Mesopotamia and Ancient Persia. Afghans are seen by the racist US goverment as human beings which is why the fibe POWs were released for one US militian.
