You do realize Lagat tested positive a few years ago right? They cleared his b sample, but let's be real a blood researcher who so happens to work with Albertos group (ironic) found in research of epo testing that "where there's smoke, there's fire".
Lagat paid his way to get the so called "negative b sample".

I do not understand why everyone is afraid to talk about what goes on in NOP facilities? What could they possibly be doing that they need to be so secretive, and everyone refuses to just outrightly discuss their experiences with them. Do NOP fans not see this growing trend secrecy in their group?

Don't be so stupid. The testers have the right to retest EVERY athletes samples years after they were taken. That is how it works. New rules, new testing methods, and retesting are what it is about. An athlete doesn't know for sure they are in the clear until years and years later.

Obviously altitude stimulates EPO production. Pretend we find other natural lifestyle changes that increase T, stimulate fat burning, etc. I would consider these fair training.
Using chemicals that artificially stimulate androgenic receptors or other performance-enhancing responses is not fair. What if you discover holding your breath in a pressurized environment makes you have more red blood cells? Surely this would be a smart way to train for your event.
What if your friend discovers he can rub an ointment on his skin that makes him have more red blood cells? Not fair
The entire NOP group is doping. They take the top talent and see who really wants to be fast. Seeing how much they can handle is probably part of their hazing. Those who leave are those who refuse to dope. Why? With all that money and power, Nike athletes get what they want. If they want to be fast, why not take something that will help you get faster?
Shannon Rowbury's way too cute to "push the limits on the rules". If I found out that Miss Rowbury was doing so, I'd never watch athletics ever again. It just wouldn't be right.
