My vote is for the Matrix, but you have to pretend that the second two movies never existed.
Star Wars doesn't count on two fronts. First, it's not particularly Sci-fi. It's more of an epic myth than a Sci-fi. And second, it's just not that good. So sorry because I know we all loved it when were 8, but that's just how it is.
You are a jabroni. Star Wars not a sci-fi, but an epic myth? Okay pal, we are all amazed by your literary prowess.
But the fact that we've loved it since we were 8 actually makes the movies seem less good than it is. Personally, I cannot remember a time in my life where I didn't know that Darth Vader was Luke's father. Imagine being able to watch that masterpiece with fresh eyes at an older age? Damn.
Matrix also a great choice.
I will toss Back to The Future into the mix, if your majesty will allow that to be considered a Sci-Fi
