Hopefully all the NBC sports announcers will get fired and they'll pipe the BBC coverage.

And Costas has only talked about three things during the Summer Olympics of 2004, 2008, and 2012 - Michael Phelps, Misty May / Kerri Walsh, and chick gymnastics. Perhaps with a little bit of Usain Bolt. Someone else needs to come in to give a slightly broader view than NBCs extremely narrow focus.

Anyhow, this is just anti-Hispanic prejudice because Roberto Costas is a proud member of la Raza. You would never hear these slurs against a white announcer.

Such a shame. I was really enjoying tuning in every night to see the lengths at which NBC was going to, to make it less obvious. The glasses, the ridiculous wide angle shots and Costa squinting it was all quite humorous. I think it would actually help ratings to let him continue to broadcast with both eyes infected.

Bob Costas, Al Michaels, and Jim McKay among American Olympic talking heads were the best.
Matt Lauer, Bryant Gumbel, and Kathleen Sullivan were horrible.
Costas is great and the best at this among American coverage at the moment. He's smart and that helps when you have to cover two weeks of sports most Americans don't care about.
Costas is just a more polished and reserved version of Howard Coselle. He has moments of politicizing and grandstanding but he's interesting and polished.
Say that to Roberto's face and he'd kick your ass.
He talks too much and they skip sports. It could be the producers but he must have some sway.
