If you had actually watched the Galen video instead of just looking at the thumbnail, then you would not think that Galen was getting unfair treatment. At the 0:30 mark, there is a random shirtless dude on the track running a cooldown or something in white shorts.
I'm running without a BQ as well along with a lot of other runners. It's their race, they can do what they want with.

One time I was running at that track for a high school dual meet and the officials screamed at this guy when he had to switch shirts to give one of his teammates a uniform. Odd double standard right?
