this just shows how weak the 5k & especially 10k wrs are
interesting points :
- the ethiopian 5k wr of 14'11 is = to about a high-3'54/8'15 performance - it's weak & there is a lotta meat to come off that bone
- pamela's 1'54-flat is nominally fractionally just inferior to the 1500 & 3k wrs ( caveat being neither of latter 2 were run anywhere close to even pace )
- kratoch's 1'53.28wr is about on a par with wang's 8'06.11wr, albeit neither were run ideally, wang's more uneven than kratoch's
( i'll have to dig out wang's splits in that 8'06 ( if someone has them at hand, please post them ) )
- i'd put the women's 1500wr of 3'50.46 on a par with kratoch's & wang's times as that 1500 was run off a wild 57+ & shouda been well below 3'50 at even pace, probably around 3'48
in summary :
the 800, 1500 & 3k wrs are all about equally good/strong
