idiot
36.5 last 300
11.6 on backstretch
on dirt
get that thru your head
Why you are pretending to be someone else Ventolin^3 is comical.
Your maths isn't too good either.
Said88 who has the dvd said his last 300 was 36.5 or 36.6, and he was all out for the last 300. His last 200 was 24.8, which means his back stretch 100m was 11.7-11.8 not 11.6.
His last 800m was 1:50.5, his last 700 1:34.6, so his last 800 had splits of 15.9, 44.1, 13.9, 11.8 and 24.8.
The only exceptional split in that race was the 100m stretch from 300 out. There are plenty of other examples of athletes running faster last 800s and 700s in a 3:38 race. And no, not all athletes' main aim is to blast the last 300m in the same way. The only way you could compare is to give other athletes the exact same pace for the first 1200m and then tell them to go all out.
Ovett is an excellent comparison to make as he ran an 11.9 100m stretch on the last lap of a 3:34 race. And he eased up in the last 100m. He could easily have run a 24.7 last 200m in that race.
Aouita is said to have run a 36.1 last 300m in a 3:34.8 race.
So what Ryun did is not without precedent.
