I don't think they do but there's a perception that there's either competition or disrespect between flo and letsrun. Really though they could be taking them down and we wouldn't know because there's no public moderation log. Put one of those up and the whining stops.

There seems to be no more animosity, but LR does view them as competition. If you pay attention, you'll notice their selective choosing of links from other sites.

that shows me how important talent is, eh? If I took 12 weeks off, I would lose 90 seconds a mile in a 6k. She lost what - 15 seconds/mile? just guessing.

No, has nothing to do with talent. There's no reason your times should drop 90 seconds per mile after just 12 weeks off. You're either exaggerating or have a very destructive off season.

And may have placed even higher has she not fallen at the beginning. Talent definitely plays a role. To not run for 3 months and then literally have ~3 weeks from pac10's to nationals is pretty impressive.
