To T-rex's attempted point about Obamacare being a conservative concept, this is how we elect an America hating fraud, a con man. The T-Rexes of the world are so duped, so completely incapable of reason & so caught up in "you lost, we won", like this is a big game of ping-pong, that they're ripe for the picking. I think your average obamaton also shares barACK!'s rage at the perceived injustices of "the system". It's a startling level of stupidity, combined with immaturity.

Yes, MR mandated people in Mass buy health insurance. How is MR a conservative?? Who - besides maybe PMSNBC - would label him as such? MR lost the election because he wasn't conservative enough. 4M conservatives stayed home. The GOP will lose in 2016 when they nominate RINO Christie - for the same reason.

The GOP has authored numerous bills on healthcare reform. Even if they hadn't, how does that justify supporting an idea as awful as obamacare? What - we're going with the really sucky choice because "the other side" didn't present a choice? What are we - in the 4th grade?

Actually, they are. I even cited a specific example. You must not be following the debate very closely. (Can't say that I blame you; there are many better things to do with one's life.)

Everything else you write is relevant only if one accepts the odd premise that when one loses one political fight, one forfeits the right to fight about anything related to that one fight. To be sure, it is certainly politically foolish to keep going back for more punishment on the same issue if one is certain to lose again (see, e.g., shutdown), but when one makes a valid criticism that resonates with the majority of Americans, saying, "you lost; get over it" is an awfully weak response.

dude, do some research. obamacare is basically a heritage foundation concept.

that's why it got passed in congress - it is a private sector solution for a health care problem.

Why repubs have made such a boogie man out of the aca is truly a mystery to me. I think very few of them understand what it is.

People are losing their health insurance because shortly after Obamacare was passed, Sebelius et al made changes to the grandfather clause of the law and, subsequently, any change at all, no matter how small, to a person's health insurance made it ineligible for that grandfather clause. Obama knew that changes are made almost annually to a person's health insurance. So millions have lost their health insurance because of that small change to the law. Talk about low-handed. String them up! All of them!
