The population of Kenya basically consists of two genetic stocks: The Nilotic and the Cushitic (Ethiopid) one. Even Bantu tribes in Kenya have a strong Nilotic or Cushitic admixture (e. g. the Kikuyu tribe). On the other hand, it curious that some Nilotic tribes (like the Luo, from which Obama's father comes from) are basically Bantus speaking a Nilotic language.
