Why is it that a race with 50k+ runners and that has been held annually for decades and is the US National 10k championship, is incapable of measuring and placing 6 mile markers in the correct and accurate locations. That was just silly and embarrassing. I mean local small 10k's can at least do that without a staff, but Peachtree makes millions and could care less. Sad.

I noticed that, too. Regardless of conditions, they got that wrong and it seemed like it actually may have started somewhere around mile 4, at least judging by splits and aid stations.

Those markers screwed with my mind. A 6:40 on mile 5 followed by a 4:48! I wished I'd known the course in advance. And I'm pretty sure the markers were off starting with mile one.

Trafeh dropped out around 2.5... I was coming down the hill about 1:15-1:30 back from the leaders and saw him walking
