It's not the age rules in the NCAA that are the issue.
It's these teenage Africans who are actually much older.
I am amazed by this horsesh*t about African runners having the advantage as they are older.
It's not exactly like Africans suck when they run in the Open division is it?
I don't recall two teen-aged Non-Africans medaling in the Olympic 800m for men last year, do you?

In all seriousness though if some people are going to complain about the age of Africans in the NCAA, you might want to count BYU.
As far as football schools cutting away from the NCAA:
- It will not happen for a long time.
- The NCAA is starting to change things around, some good and some bad
- They have eliminated some recruiting rules.
- College basketball by far makes the most cash due to TV deals.
- Maybe with this College Football Playoff system ( which will hopefully go to 16 if not more teams) it will bring in more money
- A LOT OF THE MONEY is given back to the schools. With March Madness if your school in the pac 12 makes it to the final the conference gets more money than if they would go to the elite 8. This money is dispersed to every school in the conference. Or at least this was the way a few years ago.
- Things will be interesting when Mark Emmeret (spelling) is let go. The guy isn't doing much to build the back up the integrity of the NCAA.
Once you completely separate from the NCAA all the sports will be separated. Trust me on this one. The NCAA will not let Louisville separate in basketball alone. You're all in or all out.

I think the comment was unnecessary but i think some of you guys are taking it a little too serious.
They were talking about the times Haile posted in high school when most thought he was older than what he listed
- There is no set way to determine how one a person is that comes from overseas
- Jokingly one of them said well I guess you just have to cut off his leg and count the rings.
*** LIKE A TREE. I think he said dog but meant log. It was a poor reference. He misspoke and told the "joke/statement" wrong.
