It has to do with "That's about as American as it gets.?" I think most people, other than low-information voters, would think that it can get more American than a Canadian of Chinese descent. I'm not the one who brought it up.

No, again, this is a list of performances by American 22-year-olds. You are talking about something different but equally interesting. There would be nothing wrong with looking at that as well but that is not the subject at hand.
Derrick is a smooth runner. He has the patience to sit near the back of the pack and bide his time without panicking, which is something that Alan Webb never seemed to learn how to do.
Lagat is a great runner and role model for everyone.
Derrick will be the next sub-13/27 probably in 2014.
