Well, there is the issue of video rights and Youtube will take down anything that is claimed to be violating those rights.
As an NCAA event you are not allowed to go set up or release any video.
And why is that? When the event is done, why not put up the vids for free? Are they making a buck on the events in the weeks after? Sounds doubtful

You aren't very bright. If people know it'll be released afterwards, they are less likely to watch it when it's actually broadcast, which is where the NCAA makes money.

Not necessarily - this might apply to only 5% of track fans out there and maybe another 5% of sports fans all together, but IF there is the opportunity to watch the race live, they WILL watch it live, not on replay. what putting it on replay does is it allows those who had to miss it because of work, dinner, race day, etc. to actually watch it.
I think he thought Jenkins went to BU, not Northeastern. Different schools, same city, valid question.
Jenkins seems very determined and I think he learned from the indoor 3k what he needs to do to beat Lawi - be in contention with a lap to go, and not try to kick from too far back. Estrada doesn't have as great of a kick.

Correct, also, if you release it a week or two later you won't lose more than a few few people.
Estrada will win the race based on his Payton Jordan performance. Lawi always makes it a fast race and I feel like that will come back to bite him because I don't think he will be able to drop Estrada and he will feel more fatigued off of a 10k. As for Jenkins, Estrada's PR's are faster than his and Estrada put over 2 seconds on Jenkins in the final lap at Payton. The only time Jenkins beat Estrada was the day after Estrada took 2nd in the 5k in indoors.
