What ever works for you. Go for it! I'm not distracted my beautiful terrain. Mountains, cool weather and ice cold streams motivate me. I love where I live and live where I train but I can see your point. Let us know how it goes.

Only 20 grand for an entire year with meals. If my life circumstances were different, I'd totally take a year off and just hang out there.

I have worked out in Haile's gym in Addis (not the YaYa place). He does use weights. Light, quick reps. He was always very friendly to guests.

When will people understand that those guys just roll out the miles day after day. Maybe you should go stay where Rupp and Mo stay as they beat everyone. From OTC pics they train in some of the most beautiful places in the country. Maybe go to the French Alps location that some of the teams use. At least you will see some color.

Haile definitely uses weights. Don't talk sh!t if you don't know what you're about.

If you zoom all the way out, you can see the track from space

A bunch of friends of mine have been to Iten Village in Kenya and apparently that is a good training destination, too

9000', you'll have to spend a few weeks to acclimate, on the other hand you'll get to enjoy lots of doro wot.
