Maybe not. A 7:30 is averaging 60 seconds per lap. So, why does the second to last lap being in 60 seconds make his finish so much more impressive?

Following up on the LRC recap/To compare a bit to Rupp's impressive 7:30 indoors, Geb was able to put 3+ seconds on Ndiku over the last lap whereas Rupp put ~1.5 seconds on Ndiku over the last 200m:
