I watched Callahan run the state meet in high school his senior year, that kid had one of the nastiest kicks I've ever seen. Good to see him(and the rest of the Princeton DMR) keeping it up in the NCAA!
I guess you just didn't understand my words. At no point did I say he was terrible, in fact, I indicated that he is indeed a good coach. However, having run under multiple coaches I know that he doesn't do anything terribly ground breaking.
People on this site tend to talk about Vig as if he's some type of coaching genius. He follows the John Cook method and does a good job with the talent he gets. I was merely pointing out that he often gets extraordinary HS talent.
What? Spoiled rich kids don't get enough attention.
UPenn is the state school in central PA. PSU is the elitist Ivy League school in Philadelphia.
