3 mile tempo

2 miles float

6 x 1 mile

so the 5k could have been that

Cue all the wankers whose PB's aren't as fast as Solinsky on a tempo run, for whom I have provided a convenient outlet for their overly-compensatory aggression, no doubt underpinned by a solid inferiority complex.

The only thing that will hold back Solinsky is his domestic situation. He seems very comfortable, which is not something that I associate with peak athletic performance. Good for him that his home life seems solid, there are more important things than running--but he might lack that desperation, that need to prove, that need to arrive, that are needed to really push himself to peak performance.

My 2 cents
