Under those constraints, I agree with ignoring the technology. Unless you're running because you like the technology, which I'd like to think is a minority opinion.
Agreed. Although I wear my HRM during training, I don't look at it during training or ever let it dictate my pace. I merely use it as something to check AFTER the run to compare how hard I felt like I was working with how hard the HRM says my heart truly was working.
But then again, I consider running with sunglasses on to be an affectation.
Not agreed, but we've had this debate already and it didn't get us anywhere.
