is absolutely ridiculous! What is the basis of this assumption ? You understand that I could easily replace handball with basketball or whichever sport I want. Do you understand that even in Europe, you are as, if not more likely to find streetball playground than handball playground ? Do you understand that it is a "niche" sport in most countries that has a large number of followers in very few countries. That I could also say that if it was a more global sport, we would see other countries dominating (the way you say that Dutch would be dominating Basket)

I have lived in France several years and despite the handball team being more successful, basketball has an higher number of player there (registered by the respective federation or not). How is this possible than that French are more successful at handball than in Basketball if it reflects "global potential for height-demanding".

What about the situation in TENNIS, why are Spaniards so successful in having such a number of players in the ATP top 100? Why so few Swedes, or Dutch (Don't tell me that they do not care about it, they do as much as the Spaniards)?

Swimming? The INDIVIDUAL Olympic sport which boasts some of the tallest (in average) athletes in the World. In the male events, you will see very few people coming from the tall countries you mention. And WORLD records are not stagnating in this sport.. I'm waiting your answer: Tall Europeans do not compete ...
