Definitely feel for her and will be curious to see the replay.
Regardless of whose fault it was, it was disappointing to see her not get up and at least try. She would have been at the back of the pack but with that extra adrenaline flowing in the last few hundred meters, you never know.
From the replay, it looked like Aregawi, the Ethiopian, clipped her from behind.
Wow. That is heart-breaking for her. There is no doubt in my mind that she would have won that race too.

I haven't seen the replay yet but the Ethiopian kept swinging wide and pulling up on her. It doesn't surprise me that she ended up tripping her.
Is Areqawi the one in third with 50 to go and died really hard?

Yes, once you can blame bad luck, but twice it's her own bad positioning. Staying in the middle of an extremely tense pack going into the last lap kick. In Diamond League races she's usually near the front of the pack going into the last lap. I kept waiting for her to move up to the front on the third lap but she just stayed rooted in sixth. The pack moved with a lap to go, she was slow and got clipped.
That was heartbreaking... No chance she would have gotten back up to the pack.

Also aregawi .. one of the favorites as well as uceny used poor tactics. They needed 4:01 ish to medal... and they ended up getting outkicked, tripped.. etc.,

Believe that the Turk closed in 58.? At best, Uceny would have been 5th at the bell, think she would have been lucky to medal the way the race had played out. She would have had to run 57. (?) to win from where she was.
Two major-major races and she falls? One more and it's strike three - if she ever makes it to take that third strike.

Uceny's left foot bounces of the Ethiopian's thigh, and into Uceny's own right calf, causing her to fall, and Uceny almost takes out the Kenyan and the Ethiopian runner.
Nobody clipped Uceny's heel or any of that nonsense. She literally kicked herself in the calf and fell down.
What replay are you tools watching? I just watched BBC. Uceny ran up on the girl in front of her and tripped on her backswinging leg. The African didnt trip her...
