This opening ceremony seemed more like a parody of what a stereotypical show about Great Britain...I felt like I was watching something being created in a Christopher Guest film...
Even winter olympic ceremonies have been more exciting than this. I don't get it, London has so much going for them. They could have put on a better show than this. Maybe we were expecting something similar to Beiging, but this wasn't even a quarter as good as Beiging. Really dissapointing. Chinese can definitley throw a better party than the Brits...
It's nice to see the Brits embrace their whole Australian heritage with that Mary Poppins bit.
