Its full of heart? its a douchebag move if anything. He could have easily given that sport the the guy that finished behind him in Qualifying and given a healthy runner a chance to make the Olympic team.

Instead he limped around the track for 4 laps and wasting his time and everyone else's.

I'm so disappointed for him. His season had been going so well, it's a real shame. Hope he heals soon and can return for some of the European races.

If I read the results from Thursday right, Riley Masters was next in line. Since he'd have to take a little more than SIX seconds off his PB to get the Olympic A standard, it hardly seems likely Brown denied him a chance to make the team.

More to the point, if I understood Brown's interview, he injured his Achilles while rabbiting Jordan McNamara's last last ditch attempt to get the A standard.

Helping a guy get an A so you have more competition hardly seems like a douchebag move.

I must be missing something.
