Forget the open 400. Lebron would be better in the 400 hurdles. 51 open 53 hurdles

Actually, Nate Robinson might be one of the best track performers, if the NBA were to hold a track meet. In high school, "He set a Washington state record of 13.85 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles and was placed second in the 110-meter hurdles and second in the long jump at the 2002 state track meet." At 5'9 and 180 lbs, he is still heavier that the average sprinter, but much closer in build to an Olympic sprinter than most basketball players.
Nate Robinson holds the NBA record for the 3/4 court run and is also amazing at the vertical jump. According to some analysis in one of the articles above, He might be able to rival Usain Bolt in the 100 meter dash (or at least for 25ish yards)
If you're big-D1 good or better at football (skill position, not O-line) or basketball, even with some size on you, low 50s is about right. My most recent example of that was a 6-5, 210 WR/TE prospect who ran 52. On the one hand, Lebron is much heavier. But on the other, he's also much more athletic and better trained.
You unconshunable jackas*. JEBRON JAMES IS 6 feet 8 inches and weighs 250 LBS!@@ He can't run fast AT ALL. I would expecte him to run around 62 seconds AFTER a few weeks of hard training for spritns.
62 :D:D
sorry but someone who is 6'9 and 270 lbs is not going to be a fantastic 400 runner. or good at really any running event. its also horsepoop that hes the fastest player in the NBA. allen iverson would smoke his as$ today even though hes like 40, there are tons of players faster, just not any as fast and as big as him. regardless, i bet he would run a mediocre 52-54 for the 400. i bet rajon rondo could run sub-50 right now no problem.
To think he couldn't break 60 is ridiculous. I ran 60 seconds for the 400 in middle school, where training consisted of laying on the high jump mats. The only legitimate question is whether he can break 50 seconds.
It's truly shocking how badly some runners will kid themselves to justify their sense of superiority. Not even at my most ignorant, when I was 16 years old would I have been dumb enough to think someone like Lebron James couldn't break 60 seconds for a quarter.
Lebron would probably not break 60 for a 400 (assuming no training).
I could probably run 68 seconds then still dunk over Gheorghe Muresan
eXCuze Me? jerbron LAMES is far too big (fat?) too run as ffast as FOUR MINUTE MILLE PACE?
nxt u thinK he can run 4our mintue mile paceing for 4 lap be-cause of his massive fartlek training off NBa PLayoff?
HA HA HA
that is Me laughing at such a ponderos sugestion.
Without even training and if he cared enough to hurt like he has never known the last 100 I'm pretty sure he could run a 52.
Ha ah HA
i kno what you mean men. you mean a a 52 secund TWO HUDNERD METER? LOOL
oops man*
He does a helluva lot of sprint training outside of basketball games too. Some people call them shuttles, some call them killers. He's doing sprints back and forth across the court to complete exhaustion. Not 400m training by the book, but not bad either.
Brandon Saine ran a 46.88 400 and he was 6'1" 215 lbs with tree trunks for thighs. He is every bit as muscular as Lebron. I don't think Lebron's weight at 6'8" would be much of a factor.
Our little country school had a kid go out for track for the first time this year as a senior after playing basketball for 4 years. He will probably do okay as a guard at a D3 school at 6' and about 170. After 2 months on the team and having never run track before, he ran in the 53s which doesn't even get to the regionals.
It is beyond idiotic to think Lebron couldn't run at least that fast with even the least bit of training.
Gogogo jebron LAMES for next great miler . LOL. keep dinking taht orange mix drink (KOOL AI DFOR NON HISTORYIANS)

Supposedly he's the fastest player in the NBA.
There are probably 10 point guards quicker then Lebron. Fastest NBA player is a serious stretch.
You talk about people being quicker than Lebron, then talk about how fast he is. Two totally different things my man. Clearly he's not the quickest guy in the NBA. Whether he's the fastest depends how you define fast, and even then, you have to put them through the paces which will never happen. Let's just say he's athletic beyond what the average distance runner is capable of understanding and leave it at that.
quickest/fastest maybe? ib et he is fatsest man over 6feet 8 inches and 0ver 250 labs in the wolrd. But fastest thatn what i am capable of udnerstanding? LOL. AGAIN I said about another potser who is a bird that tells lies and lives by the sea? THATS RIGHT i"M calling you GULL LIBEL
