Geddy Lee ran a 4:13 1500 meter back in the day.
Eminem once said he was "addicted" to running in an interview. Apparently started as he was trying to get off real drug addiction. He says he kept running more and more until it was starting to actually harm him. I never saw a figure on the actual mileage though...
Found it:
"K, so before you got ruined by streaming porn, what was your daily routine like?
Eminem: I’m usually in the studio five days a week. Get up, run in the mornings. I run anywhere from two to five miles. There was a point in time—this is how I know I’m an addict—when I was running literally 17 miles a day.
Whoa.
Eminem: Sometimes 19. I would run eight and a half in the morning and then in the second part of the day I’d go home at night and do another eight and a half. I literally felt like I was addicted to running, like I was trapped in prison because it was like, “Ah, f*ck, I gotta run again.” I got into calorie counting so bad that when they told me that I was going to be in the woods with my shirt off [for the "3 a.m." video], I was like, “F*ck.”"
SO Eminem ran double days at around 120 miles a week?
Some guy on Hootie and the Blowfish was interviewed, runs 5 miles a day and there was a road race while he was on tour where he ran 34:20 or so for a 10K.
Ken Souza of banana hammock fame was a famous 1980s-90s duathlete and 14 something 5K runner. He played in some metal band I thought.
Michael Lutz of Brownsville Station (Smoking ' in the Boys Room) was supposed to be a 2:40s guy, at least according to an old RW.
Boff Whalley, leader of Chumbawumba ("I Get Knocked Down! But I Get Up Again"), has a running book coming out this summer. Apparently, he's extremely dedicated and has been running marathons for about 30 years.
I'm really curious about the book:

That's interesting. Do you have a link to it? (Not that I don't believe you, I'd just like to read the whole interview.)
