I'm having a hard time trying to comprehend why Symmonds did not just ask the kid from Bernards to accompany him to the olympic trials. Would have brought a lot of publicity to the sport bringing someone who can eat so much and endure more pain than the kenyans who get circumsized at thirteen years old. Perhaps he's just starstruck or is scared to ask the Bernard kids father.... after all he does look like morpheus and will bankrupt you faster than his son ran the second mile of that 3200 on that legendary day in April 08.

Probably not. Letter jackets are usually reserved for football. A track jacket would be much more likely in this situation.
