What doesn't add up? That she has convictions? You don't have to be a beautiful woman to be able to have sex if you want it. I don't see how appearance relates to conviction to something. No doubt her appearance probably leads to more opportunity, but more chances isn't incompatible with consistent behavior.
If you are going to "save yourself for marriage", you really need to pull the trigger on getting married by the age of 25. 30 year old virgins are a bit bizarre - I know, having dated one.

Quentin is correct. 5 billion years of evolution says it's just plain wrong not to have sex. Just like it flies in the face of evolution for people to engage in a gay relationship. The virgins and queers are so unenlightened.

She just doesn't like guys. Sure, shes dated some guys before but the stories were always a bit strange. I think I saw her out with her GF earlier this year. It's no big deal. She is conflicted about her religious beliefs and her sexual orientation. I think she sees herself as a role model and wants young girls to not have to think about her as a sexual person, but just an athlete so they can aspire to be like her. Shes just not doing herself any justice by trying to mask it.

No, there is technically nothing wrong with sex, but it is also a very dangerous game people play. The Christian community stresses that sex is for husband and wife, and that marriage is forever, to help people not develop those emotional scars, to keep people from spreading STDs, and to protect people from unplanned pregnancies.
Far too often young people make light of how big a deal sex really is, and the effects it has on people.
What about the emotional scars from waiting until you are married to please Jesus, only to find out that either you or your new life partner suck in the sack, or you just aren't physically compatible? Runners train and practice before they enter a meet. Why should it be any different with sex? Sure, boning in a completely indiscriminate manner with booze and drugs involved might not be a good idea, but that's certainly not the only way to have pre-marital sex (though I sure have enjoyed the hell out of it).
This foolish, monstrous arrogance of some humans who think we're anything more than an insignificant, inconsequential speck in some podunk corner of the universe.... boggles the mind. Enjoy life. Screw who you want. We're all destined to be worm food in the end.
Virginity is a bad idea. It's just bad. If this is even true, that she's a virgin a 29, well, something is very much amiss. Principles are one thing, but come on already.

Although I am a somewhat faithful Catholic, I am NOT saving my virginity because I feel it is what God would want me to do. As a 20 yr old unmarried female athlete, I just don't see the point in having sex at this point in my life. The point of sex is to have children, right? Yes, it'd be pleasurable, but there are consequences that have a slight chance of occurring (STIs, pregnancy, emotional manipulation by the guy). I would rather not risk any of that.
I see it from a pure biological standpoint: I don't want kids right now. So I don't want to have sex. I will want kids when I am married. So I will have sex when I am married. Just because it's an impulse we have, it doesn't mean we HAVE to follow it. So I see where Lolo is coming from and I think that's fine. Good for her for not giving in to others.
Hard-core Christianity is a light for all of the defective moths who have sexual hangups and weirdness. Catholic priests FTW on this one.
