I had "mountain oysters" once at a big BBQ in Nevada... Pretty bad..kinda chewy with awful taste. I had a chocolate covered cricket too..just thinking of that as it crunched in my mouth about made me hurl...

Pork rinds...Im not sure how those things are mass produced, because that means there is a high enough demand for them. Man, I ate one in 7th grade in history class and my face contorted in a fashion only familiar to the likes of death. I was certain that someone has tried poisoning me with the grease off of a NASCAR fan's rectum...but I was wrong, it was just pork rinds.

My own vomit. I was in University taking the bus home from school one day and didn't feel well; I had the flu. I got very sick to my stomach but there weren't any close bus stops and I was too embarrassed to up-chuck in the garbage can at the front of the bus where everyone could see me, so I barfed with my mouth closed and swallowed it back down. It was horrible and it really hurt my throat. But the bus was packed and no one could tell what I had just done so it was worth it.

I am currently eating natty ice that I took out of a fridge that hasn't worked in a little over a year. (then closed the fridge and forgot about that mess as soon as possble) I washed the mold off of them and topped off my favorite glass...and I gotta say not too bad

The most disgusting at the time was the beating heart of a Sockeye Salmon when I was about 9 years old. My dad was a commercial fisherman, and felt beholden to a sorts of superstitions. One of these was that a fisherman had to eat the beating heart of the fist salmon of the year.

I think a big part of the disgusting factor came from working it up in my mind a bit. I was also slightly sea sick at the time, and nearly puked.

I actually came to like vegemite a bit. I found that a very thin layer on a piece of toast with an egg and bacon on it made a nice accent. I couldn't handle large quantities though.

Even with trying to be open minded I've never been able to think of natto as anything but gross.

I may have eaten some other disgusting stuff while drunk in college. We had a track party where we cooked up a goat. We had a bag of entrails, and I remember taking a bite out of the heart, but I can't recall whether it was cooked.

I would say, but I've been eating Vegemite since I was a kid, so what I think is disgusting, you'd probably like, haha.

It took me a long time to get over my experience of Vegemite. I experienced intense sweats and nightmares for weeks following my first and ONLY taste it. Im still on medication and the authorities have diagnosed me with PTSD.

My not so funny New Zealand roommate got me to sample a piece applied thickly to toast. The crap looked like crude oil, and somehow I mistakingly thought it would taste like chocolate/hazlenut...I took one bite while holding my nose (as I was warned to do) and still just about threw up.

I immediately kicked my roommate in the shin, punched his girlfriend in the boob and threw his cat off our 3rd floor deck.

Vegemite is not a funny joke.

Vegemite > Marmite.

Um, beef tongue is yummy and super easy to make if you ever find it in the grocery store. You just get a big pot and boil it until you can remove the outer membrane of the tongue. Once the outer membrane is easily peeled off, it is done.

I once chugged a cup of hamburger fat from a george foreman grill for $40. That was pretty bad, but I don't regret it.

Occaisinally a large flying bug finds its way to the back of by throat (requiring swallowing ) during bike rides in the spring/summer.
