Regardless, they shouldn't broadcast the identity of someone who hasn't been convicted. Even if he's 100% innocent, this sexual assault case will be the first thing that comes up about him for the rest of his life (do a google search of his name).
So it's ok for the girl to go to his apartment, herself, on her own accord, and have sex? You don't see anything wrong with that? Where are her parents?? Seems to me she knew what she was doing when she went over there. This is what pisses me off. I had a friend who was a teacher, a 17 yr old girl student (which was not in his class but attended the HS), he was 23, she went over there at least 60 times and sent away by him, he told the principal several times about it and nothing was done. One night she came over, he was drunk, they had sex, he went to prison for 2 years. Sexual battery. I'm not saying it was right, but come on man.She was just a child they said, she had no idea what she was doing! Now, give this same 17 year old a gun, shoot someone, and now they try her as an adult. Our legal system is terrible.

16 year old girls are different now than a generation ago. At the school I teach at (so cal) a group of freshman (9th grade!?)cheerleaders got busted for having a bj club. Giving bjs to the varsity football players. The Varsity cheerleaders are the ones who busted them. I guess they got jealous.
At another school in our district a group of middle school girls got busted for dancing (stripping) at bachelor parties...... and performing favors for money at these parties.....
I dont remember my HS cross country team in the 80's being the center of a freshman cheer bj club....damn.

Exactly - I have a 16 year old daughter...and even if she were a tramp, I'd staple the 34-year-old guy's scrotum to his forehead.
If my daughter was a tramp and was sleeping around, I would prefer that it was with somebody older, who at least has a viable career.
