Ritz running 5K on Thanksgiving

Ritz can spin this that its just a tuneup, but to get beat this badly is pretty pathetic!!

^WRONG! He's doing this off marathon training. No taper, no speedwork yet. Nothing pathetic about it. He's got 5 weeks of race specific work to do that he is just getting started. Only Ryan Hall beats him at the trials; not Meb, not Gotcher, not Arcieniga, not anybody else. He's going to be just fine.

That is a huge gap from 53rd to 54th place!

The race went out fast and the second mile was even faster for the leaders. 4:28 - 8:49 (4:21)

This is just the beginning for J Mac. He is going to have a huge year. Expect sub 3:50 for the mile and sub 13 for 5000m.

J Mac is the best American from 1500m to 5000m hands down.

Totally agree about JMac.

He is going to teach USATF Distance how to dougie. He will go under 3:50 indoors with that new meet at Millrose. He runs to get paid. He makes bank. He will get gold.

Yes, J Mac is probably the best bet the USA has for gold. Don't be surprised when he sets the AR for 5000m.

Donn Cabral did well at the Manchester Road Race too. 6th place, I think.

Why do all you guyzs think Jmac is so good??? I think he is a good runner, but he wasn't even an NCAA champion at any event in all of his college career! All american doesn't cut it for what how much you guys are talking him up.
